Description
We are currently seeking a hard-working and motivated entry level Online Sales Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to learn! In this role, you will be challenged with calling key business decision makers and selling GetFave.com’s suite of online advertising products. Responsibilities include:
- A minimum of 100 cold calls per day
- Running a minimum of 15 phone meetings a week with prospective clients
- Utilizing strategic sales methods to emphasize our value and sell GetFave.com advertising solutions
- Generating revenue to meet monthly and quarterly goals
- Developing relationships through effective communication and attentive customer service
- Developing a firm understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and being able to articulate your knowledge during the sales pitch
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years professional work experience; sales and/or cold calling experienced preferred
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and determined to succeed; GO GETTER!!
- Enthusiastic personality with a strong sense of humor
- Positive attitude and open-mindedness
- SUPERIOR work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively over the phone in English
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and extremely internet savvy
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Creative thinker who can contribute to our growing company with unique ideas

Rails Developer

Why You?
Fave is looking for an excellent Ruby on Rails developer to complement a small highly agile team. This person should be able to handle all the aspects of running a high traffic, high performance website. This means:
- Backend work with Sphinx and MySQL. We need someone who can play with fire and not get burned.
- Front end advancements with JS, CSS and HTML. We want someone who will embrace our users like we do and obsess about improving their experience on the site.
- Sensitive deployments and production support. We do a lot to keep our site running efficiently. This developer will need to be comfortable hopping into production machines and hacking in a ‘nix based shell. We’ve got a lot of hardware to support our site. Multiple environments, load balanced servers, capistrano, long-running migrations, and performance monitoring are just a few things we deal with day-to-day.
- A deep understanding and love for the web.
In addition to being technically savvy, this developer needs to be able work just as effectively independently as with the team. We’re looking for someone with high aptitude. Someone that can solve a problem quickly and build a solution into part of the overall objective and goal of the company and product.
Every person on this team makes a huge difference, and we need someone who wants to reach in and move the needle forward.
