Krav Maga is a highly evolved system of self defense. It is a mixed martial arts (MMA) that teaches students defend themselves against hostile actions, to avoid injuries and to quickly overcome their assailant. Krav Maga defenses address a variety of aggressive acts, such as: punches, chokes, bear hugs, headlocks, grabs, ground attacks, as well as defense against multiple assailants and assailants armed with firearms, edged weapons, or blunt objects. In addition, Krav Maga incorporates specialized training methods used to challenge students physically and mentally. This type of training also strengthens the spirit and develops the ability to deal with violent confrontations under stress. Krav Maga is NOT a traditional martial art. It’s a modern method of dealing with violence and it's a great workout. Kali is a close-quarters combat fighting system used to defend against multiple opponents based on the use of the BLADE. It's a complete set of techniques, tactics and procedures designed to enhance your survival during a violent confrontation. An attacker could be armed with a stick or a stick like object, a blade or any number of sharp objects or just simply physically confrontational. Kali will enable you to protect yourself from strikes and attacks, teach you destruction of your opponent's weaponry, and allow you to domination your attacker during any combat situation. While practicing Kali, you will learn the essence of close quarters combat which is manifested in what is known as the flow - the continual combative process of offense, counter-offense, and re-counter offense.
